Our Facilities
Welcome to Fauxdegla Shooting Ground North Wales' only Premier Plus shooting ground and now has the accolade “International clay shooting centre”.
At Fauxdegla we offer fantastic, pristine shooting facilities for shooters of all levels, we are open 5 days a week for open practice for registered Shotgun license holders, we hold regular competitions in a variety of disciplines and offer tuition and experiences.
The Ground offers 12 Sporting Stands, Compak Sporting Area, Sportrap Areas, 8 DTL Layouts, 4 Skeet Layouts, 4 ABT Layouts, 4 Olympic Trap Layouts & 4 Universal Trench Layouts, (all trap layouts are covered) all set in the beautiful moorland landscape that surrounds the ground.
Although we offer membership you do not need to be a member to shoot at the ground and you do not need to book to practice at the ground. We have a plug and play card system throughout the whole ground.
Competitions
At Fauxdegla we hold regular competitions in a variety of disciplines, from weekly league competitions, to regular CPSA registered and large scale World Championships.
We are proud to have previously held the British Shooting Televised Finals and welcome shooters from all over the world to shoot at our facilities.
Practice
We welcome safe, licensed shooters of all abilities for practice throughout the ground. Whether its a fun few hours shooting or serious competition practice you will find our facilities cater for all.
Practice is available Wednesday - Sunday on the pay and play Promatic card system for all disciplines. Solo Delay is available for those practising alone. Please check if we are holding competitions as this may effect practice for disciplines such as the skeet and trap disciplines though sporting practice isn't affected by competitions and is always available.
Clays are priced at £8.00 for 25.
Lessons
Would you like to learn how to shoot? or wish to improve your shooting?
Even if you have had no previous experience we can provide you with tuition appropriate to your level of experience, from beginners upwards, and we will also provide you with all the safety equipment you need. You can also hire a gun at the ground (Subject to having a Shotgun Certificate).

Clay shooting is one of the fastest growing forms of corporate hospitality, and Fauxdegla Shooting Ground are pleased to be able offer clay shooting amongst breathtaking surroundings in an area of outstanding beauty on Llandegla Moor.
We have a selection of inclusive packages, or if you prefer, we would be delighted to tailor an exciting programme of events to suit your requirements. With the stunning views, great atmosphere and affable hospitality that our qualified instructors provide to you and your clients, we are certain that we can offer you a day to remember.
These popular packages offer a real sense of traditional shooting in a truly magnificent natural environment. Shooting at a variety of long incomers, springing teal, loopers, crossers and going away targets, this really will have both seasoned shooters and complete novices, showing their enthusiastic fortitude.
